Vinařství Kacetl Frapi Cuvee, 2023

Michal Kacetl is a young guy but make no mistake he is experienced and producing some serious wines. Recently Michal was nominated as a top winemaker in Moravia from his peers and he’s turning heads with his wines throughout Europe and Asia. Michal’s attention to detail paired with his creativity allow him the ability to be a little adventurous by aging in unique barrels or clay amphora yet still produce delicious and fun to drink wines.

Michal’s Frankovka Pet Nat really tasted like Spring in the glass. Fine bubbles that just kept giving and beautifully rich and fresh strawberry notes that woke us from a winter’s slumber.

His Frapi cuvée, which is a blend of Frankovka and Pinot Noir is simultaneously delicious and easy to drink while still being elegant and quite nuanced.

Meanwhile his Pinot Noir is pushing boundaries and showing exactly what he can do with some grapefruit and a little bit of luck from mother nature. Red fruits and earth mingle seamlessly in the glass providing a deep dive into what Moravia can offer.

We’re really excited to share @vinarstvikacetl wines for the first time in the American market. "
