Stud Twirl Earring in high polished gold by Maria Black.  Gold plated .925 Sterling Silver earring. 

The gold plating is 2-3 layers of 18 or 14 carat gold that gradually wears off, giving the appearance that it has faded. 

Everyday or very frequent wear, may speed up this process, especially on items like rings and bracelets, which have more frequent contact with surfaces.

Unique to Danish designer Maria Black is her signature concept of inter-changeable designs.Each piece is interchangeable, pieces can be combined together, stack-able rings can be worn on fingers or toes, and earrings are designed to be mixed and matched.
