Looking for a fun Spanish way to refresh your style? This ultra-feminine high wedge Carmen espadrille has a convenient clip-on ankle strap that makes putting them on and taking them off that much easier. They are considered by many of our clients as the most comfortable of all our espadrilles.

Materials: The wedge soles are made of jute thread and recycled textile fibers from Barcelona. The canvas is 100% cotton. All products are sewn by hand and manufactured with organic materials.

History: The Lola espadrille with laces, also known as the Valenciana, is the very first Spanish wedge espadrille ever designed. The Carmen espadrille has the same features as the original but instead of laces it has a clip-on ankle strap.

Trivia: Certain forms of flamenco dance involve espadrilles with reinforced soles for rhythmic stomping.
